Posted January 18, 200718 yr in the near future , computers will be able to emulate the brain and is chemical process, and at some point, create AI, people think thats going to be the end of the world and everyone comes to the matrix ending, but what scientist predict was going to happen is, that AI will be able to help us in create ways, creating technologys and ideas that we cannot think of with our regulare human brain, and at some point, technology and us will become one, from adding extra memory to speeding up your thought process with nano chips, at some point, this peope with this implands will become so much smarter and faster, that us regulare humans, cannot keep up anymore, this is singularity, which is really, not that far away anymore, this can be the beginnng of a new area of excistence, but also the end of all human life, and creation of a new speciecs that will outsmart us in everyway, anyways i was reall hashed out while listing to this guy and he does make alot of sense check it out http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1615014803486086198&q=singularity&hl=en the world as we know it is ending soon, and star wars geeks like him are gonne take over, wit inteligence

January 18, 200718 yr I saw something on Discovery Channel talking about this, they had one dude who needed an ear so they somehow grew it on his forearm (or tried to) So it was his own real human flesh. Then some guy was blind but they rigged up something where he could pinhole like lights and blah blah blah. I missed most of it but really cool stuff. I actually hope i live till the age of 70 jsut to see where we are at that time.

Just look at a tank, a shoulder fired RPG from the most retarded camel jockey can disable it with ease. Personally I'd be afraid of really small robots, maybe the size of ants, that borrow into your skin and then use your blood stream to be transported into your heart where they explode/burrow more. That doesn't even take good AI, just a sharp drill bit and an infrared censor and an uber battery.
