January 22, 200718 yr I didn't read any of the replies, but if anyone mentioned the bible it shouldn't come into question at all. It is just stories.
January 22, 200718 yr Why was it a long discussion? If you believe in religion over evolution then you are a FUCKING IDIOT
January 22, 200718 yr Al Gore is the new Jesus trying to warn us about global warming so we can be Raptured on an Electric Minibus. Shut the fucking hell up. Evol > Rel.

January 22, 200718 yr evolution = proven religion = bullshit + lies + more bullshit + unproven bullshit BIBLE - the BIg Book of LiEs
January 22, 200718 yr im agnostic, i dunno what the fuck happens after you are dead, and i dont know where the hell we came from or why we are here. i know its something that the human brain will never be able to grasp, and worrying too much about it will just be a waste of the preciously life that i know i have. after that who the fuck knows? as for undermining evolution ( a scientific fact more or less) because of some book written 2000 years ago? give me a break hillbilly.
January 22, 200718 yr I say evolution. Just makes more sense. I heard both sides of the story and religious reasoning is so "if" & "we think"
January 22, 200718 yr i do not believe but the only thing that really makes me think twice are people that become posessed by demons and what not that was a film lol
January 22, 200718 yr actually old man peterson created the universe so stfu all of u ...nut hugger I vote evolution. More plausible then a higher being making us out of nothing-ness. And anyways its not what you have faith in but that you have faith...in yourself, in your family, in your freinds.
January 22, 200718 yr yup yup  + adam and eve were both white volution is whare did the nigs come from? I've always thought skin colour was also a result of evolution.. people who live in more hotter conditions (a lot of exposure to the sun) have more melanin in their skin...as a result being more dark. I do believe in god... or something superior to me. There's a limit to how much we can understand and I think creation/evolution is beyond our thinking..
January 22, 200718 yr Many common ideas are wrong on this subject I believe. I do not believe in a higher power because I have things that cause me problems through no fault of my own; if there was a real "God", there would be no reason for such afflictions. Evolution is more towards my way of thinking, however the whole foundation of "something coming from something else" is flawed I believe, because the view is that "everything has a beginning and an end".  It is hard for me to word my thoughts, so i'll just give an example. "Humans were once apes, so where did apes come from?" This chain of questions can continue forever, because the chain is either 1) endless, or 2) disagrees with "everything MUST have a beginning".
January 22, 200718 yr There is no right or wrong. Whatever you believe is always right. I was raised as an atheist so I find evolution more credible. If creation works for you, then there is nothing wrong with it.

If creation works for you, then there is nothing wrong with it. Get the fuck out of here with your pansy relativism bullshit. There is one answer to creationism, improbability. An animal that could read one specific thought of another species is a very improbable event, right? Extremely improbable, so improbable that you would be called an idiot for believing it. Now the christian god, who can read the thoughts of 6 BILLION AND COUNTING humans, is at least 6 billion times more improbable. Being EXTREMELY conservative, you can give a one in nine hundred billion chance of god existing just on his mind reading abilities. Throw in the fact that he has all these other powers, which also contradict themselves(transcendence and omnipresence, omnipotence and omniscience), and the christian god is a fairy tale in progress.
January 22, 200718 yr SPEAKING TO ALL OF YOU YOUR GOD IS myg0t SO U ALL FAIL UNLESS YOUR +g0t I BELIEVE IN ALLAH. ALLAHU AKBAR YOU EVIL ATHEIST CANCER PATIENTS.
January 22, 200718 yr OK u all want the truth well i have it ok it THE TRUTH IS that we as human being created a dimential matrix that we conceptualize to be earth we also created the belief of GOD and evolution FOR VARIOUS REASONS and the THUNDERBIRD AND THE GREAT SOURCE we also created such as other relliguous beliefs because we as humans are givin choices. it is an mathmatical algorythm we created to make beliefs etc and when we die we recycle back to the same year we were born before and same date and our life styles and death is predetermined DONT BELIVEME ME WAIT TILL U DIE or simply ask YOURS TRULY [myg0t]CJ:o

January 22, 200718 yr imo this is a terrible discussion for these forums because the majority here have no idea what they are talking about on either side of the discussion. Proof of this is people in this thread only acknowledging religions about God as religions when there are obviously many others. Also, no one has anymore understanding of evolution than what is in their 10th grade biology text book, which only scratches the surface of the idea. If they did, they would probably find that the theory on the beginnings of evolution seem "bogus," much like how they feel about the beginnings of the God religions. I try to find a middle ground myself.
