delete your clientregistry.blob.. Then start steam again. Fixed.

same happened me.

Scenario:

My mates pc has completely fucked over and i went to an internet cafe, and i decided to log in on my account. I played some Steam for a good 3/4 hours with my mate, and then i logged off and went our for a few beers. Will my account get banned?

EDIT: Its banned :S

Really? So logging in at a real cafe on your own account identifies you as evil and that you have compromised the cafe?

fuck you guys they ain't disabled mine.used them all the time as well, guess they just missed me

heres another scenario:

say for example you go to a university and used one of these cafe accounts on the Uni IP, will everyone who used their steam accounts at that uni get banned?

Get your own computer?

I could care less if i get disabled. They aren't my accounts anyways

LOL nice man!

KKEKEKEKEKE! IM SAFE BITCHES! :P

I dont know if ill get banned. Maybe. I did try the renewing your IP, someone posted that earlier. If that saves me, i love you so much. :P

The point could be to log into every computer possible with a cafe, then who ever logs in next with their account gets their account banned......

lol let's call the steam customer service thing and voice annoy them to death until they give back the accounts! :P

Mr. Newell hasn't solved anything. In the end it's just a bunch of n00bs or legit players looking for fun that lose all of their expensive shit and have their accounts diabled. Meanwhile, people that just rage don't even own their accounts 99% of the time; and they always have methods of scamming/using a keygen on CD keys/creating their own café accounts/running non-steam clients to play Steam games. Disabling accounts doesn't affect them one bit. Everyone else ends up shelling out more money to these asshats at VALVe. It's just stupid.

PS: Not disabled, but I only used one café account. :gaysex2:
