Your theory of a perfect world to me looks more like an evil, Hilter-like, dictatorship where a persons rights can be stripped away because they might not have scored high enough on the test. A world where the government chooses who the Bill of Rights pertains to, and assigns a man's worth.

 

 

I'm guessing that what you would probably consider 'smart enough' is around what we today consider 'average intelligence'. By that standard I would fall well into the safe zone, and even I would not want to live in your world.

Smarter men always seek a way to not only know, but show, their intellegence over their peers. Since you previously separated the stupid people out of the social equation, it leaves only the upper half of the population. Therfor making the people on the lower half of the smart side stupid. It is proven that sexuality is genetic which therefore makes homosexuality a disability. It is not natural to allow for gay people to lead open and normal lives. I believe we should be working to cure this genetic disorder rather than trying to accept homosexuality as a part of the world we live in.

On a more serious note, yes that would be a Hitler like dictatorship, but this carebear world with no sharp edges is just as destructive to the human race as famine or disease or predators ever were.

 

Street smarts are bullshit, and the intelligence test would be simple enough. It'd be a wilderness survival test for about 2 weeks. Intelligence that cannot be applied is inherently useless. Yes stephen hawking and those autistic kids would die. On the rare occurance one of them actually has something to offer (for every great autistic person or cripple I bet I can name a dozen normal scientists just as good off the top of my head, not to mention the millions of scientists throughout history that made large advances in their specific field) it'd be collateral damage.

 

No system is 100% fair to everyone, and to expect perfection where it's impossible is fallacy. As to always increasing the threshold of who makes it or not, that firstly wouldn't happen (as this is either a you pass or fail test, no one can "pass better" than someone else) and should the test become corrupted and that does become possible, these smart people would understand the need for the average-above average to handle the tedius work that they require. And in a double fool proof system, approx 4 billion people are needed to maintain the current lifestyles through the world (just an example). To go below that would result in a world wide break down of food distribution etc. This would lead to extinction. Any species that causes itself to go extinct is unfit for survival anyways.

 

There are 2 basic principles you must accept to understand my system: 1) The human species has more than enough individuals and variation to survive. 2) under those circumstances you can eliminate undesirable traits without negative consequence.

 

In the case of humans it's quite clear why we're the top predator, the ability to modify our environment instead of adapting biologically. The ability to do this is directly related to intelligence, so intelligence is what is important.
