Posted January 25, 200718 yr Having a conversation with a friend whos inbetween jobs and we was comparing who had done the worst job... Mine has to be working in a glass factory... watching piping hot glass bottles come down a conveyor belt and have to put them into boxes before they got to the end. I left that job after 3 days, was on night shifts, let the glass bottles drop off the end and walked out. Yours?

January 25, 200718 yr Author d3;436421']I once power washed concrete late at night for almost a year shittiest job ever Wow.. Why would you do such a thing?
January 25, 200718 yr I work in this warehouse and when I first started I had to get all these old cardboard boxes and put them into a big fuck-off machine and they would get all compacted into a bail. I basically squished boxes from 8.00am till 5.30pm for 5 days a week on a wage of 6.12euros an hour. Then I quit but they asked me back and now I'm incharge of stock and they put the retarded guy on box squasing.
January 25, 200718 yr bringing the papers around -.- nothing exhausts me more then coming home from a winterday around 17:30. But resting sure feels nice after that.

I had a similar job working in a factory for a few months.. i had to feed cardboard into a machine and it would cut it into a net so someone could fold it... boring monotonous work
January 25, 200718 yr Stacking boxes of pears onto pallets. Worked from about 8 AM to to when ever the bosses would say to stop (usually about 5-7 PM sometimes later). The boxes would come on a conveyor belt and go through a machine that squirt burning hot glue on to them. When stacking the boxes the hot glue would drip onto me and I still have scars from it. Fucking Mexican job, I was only 14 at the time so it was really the only job I could get.
January 25, 200718 yr I was an apprentice plumber. We did mostly new installs but those still sucked endlessly. I had to carry cast iron pipes up stairs (usually plumbing goes in before elevators, and it's cheaper to pay a kid than rent a crane), dig trenches outside in pants/boots/gloves/long sleeves in 100+ degree heat, on occasion we'd do large scale remodels and I'd get splashed with 30 year old hospital sewage (hospitals have about 5" long blood red cochroaches living in them too, and they live in swarms of hundreds). Not to mention just generally being covered in dust/rust/saw dust/fiberglass/dirt/grease etc. It did have one perk that I haven't found anywhere else, I got to call my boss names to his face. He'd be like "hey kid, use your fat ass to carry those toilets to the 4th floor" and I'd get to reply with "I couldn't understand you, pull the cock out of your mouth first" etc. Oh and another thing that sucked was having to use a hole saw/grinder wheel. Those both work like power sanders by being harder than the material they rub against, the down side is this causes friction and molten bits of metal fly everywhere, usually onto your arms/hands. And the pay was shitty. They told me I was gonna get a raise but I wound up quitting a year later without getting one.
January 25, 200718 yr Wow.. Why would you do such a thing? jus6t moved out and it was cash under the table. worst part about it was the boss was my neighbor, gay and a weekend crack head spending up to 800$ a weekend
January 25, 200718 yr ive worked at only mcdonalds and bestbuy mcdonalds = it wasnt as bad since i was with my best friend and we fucked around a lot but that kinda sucked.. i always took like a 20 dollar bill from someone elses register and put a 10 under the draw so it looks like they confused a 20 for a 10 and i keep 10.. wow they were so dumb bestbuy = pretty fun hot girls a lot of idiots who thinks hard drives are the smae thing as the tower itself
January 25, 200718 yr iworked at pizza hut for month and half, i had to prepare the dough , every monring we had to make about 60 pizzas for school, me and my friend spit into the pizza once just for kicks , i got fired one day, i was really fucking tired, and burning out from the wake and bake session i had, i left my work place next day manager told me that him and his boss and the bosses boss had to do all the dough for that day and i screwd up the stores rellioshis with the school and i got fired...
January 25, 200718 yr Food service at a grocery store. Idiot customers ranging from senior citizens with OCD criticizing every aspect of the service I provide to welfare moms trying (and failing) to pay for overpriced cafeteria food with food stamps (you can't pay for "restaurant" food with food stamps). Not to mention the burns and cuts from the chicken rotisserie and an extreme bout with salmonella... Quit in less than 10 months.
January 25, 200718 yr I worked at a recyling center for like 6 months. Sucked so bad. Heavy lifting all day long, and it fucking SMELLS! Some times you gotta do what you gotta do to pay the rent...
January 25, 200718 yr Workin at a coal mine. I still am there because the money is really really good. But I hate every minute of it. I drive one of their 200 tonner trucks. So boring. Very monotonous. You dont even need a drivers license to drive em. 12 hour shift work 4 on 4 off. Benefits..and I make around 28 bucks an hour. So it could be worse but when you are driving the same road every single day for 12 hours. You dont leave the truck all day. So yes it has some good things about it but i'd way rather work another job. Buut it'd be hard finding one with benefits and same pay etc.
