I lost this message, could someone please post it here? 1) Join a server after setting your Friends name to "Steam Powered Support Staff"". (With the extra " mark so they can't somehow see you in Player List. 2) Target a person that seems pretty gullible. 3) Add them via Player List. 4) Disconnect, paste the message saying blah blah blah bad activites on your account please verify your account by sending back account name/password... 5) Log in, change e-mail and PW. 6) And there you have it. I used to rake in accounts super-easily... but sadly I lost that professional-looking Steam message to convince people to hand over their shit. I also remember someone (a g0t) posting a pic of a super nice account phishing website that looked like the SteamPowered site on the same thread the message was posted. January 31, 200718 yr you obviously havent tested this... u cant have ur name as anything to do with steam. And also u cant add friends unless u add them then they add u then u can both talk to each other.

Stẹam Automated Verification omg, hax. Plus I found a better way of doing this, i't's much more effective. Repeat messages like "Awaiting Activation..." (I don't want to give the exact technique) and people will be convinced you're a bot. And usually people see the message "Steam Automated Verification Has Added you blah blah blah" and they add you then they message you with "wtf, who is this?". Then you start pwning them.

Then remove it once connected to the server you plan to troll/scam. See the "How to make yourself unmuteable" topics. well dont put all them on one email or steam will own you... found that out after i got a 4 digit learned the hard way I just put them on fake e-mails; if I have the password I won't need to retrieve it. (But good advice)

February 5, 200718 yr Dont have your steam name have like Password Recovery, Valve support staff or w/e shit u try to make urself a staff member. Your account WILL get disabled. I have tried on my 6 digit, and next week it was fucking disabled.

Has anyone actually stolen someones account I cant see how someone could be fooled by it especially with it saying NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD at the top of each window..

April 1, 200718 yr Author A) Use a different computer (like at a café) and use a VAC banned account or something so you don't get bum-raped... I'm not even sure how VALVe knows what other accounts you have... (IP Address ??) B) There is a more effective method which involves you acting like a bot. C) Do it right and it's not a waste of time, and it's also relatively easy.
