February 10, 200718 yr Personally, I just wouldn't trust putting something in my mouth and then falling asleep... Its like an accident waiting to happen. My first set stayed in my mouth for 13 hours straight and were exactly in the same spot they were originally just with a ton of blood.

Should explain http://www.dentalgentlecare.com/dry_socket.htm They get removed because as in my problem were pushing against my teeth and caused others to get out of alignment. They some how can also get infected and cause problems I don't want to think of. Just do a quick google search and I am sure you'll find a few more reasons.

February 11, 200718 yr mine grew in just fine about 2 years ago, they didnt hurt or fuck up my teeth. why does everyone get them removed? Most people have widom teeth that grow in the wrong direction. Either right into one of their molars or sometimes upside down I think.
February 11, 200718 yr on the bottom my left one is still coming out but seems to be coming up perfect and my right still hasnt broke the skin but seems to be coming in retarded and for the top it seems the other way around

The rest of the sockets arent hurting at all My top two didn't hurt at all just the bottom ones. I only had intense pain about 4 hours after the surgery and after that it wasn't that bad. Still hurt but it was tolerable without vicodin. Took about 4 days to start eating hard food and a week until I could eat anything I want. I'd say its normal just give it a few more days and if it is still hurting just give your doctor a call and see whats up.
