Anyone know of a link for some transparent walls? I found some colored models, but i am too afraid to use any of the other ones. i.e. wireframe hack, sv cheats hack.

If you can't figure out how to make transparent textures. You don't deserve to have them

Yes, i do know how to make them, i dont know how to code them in.

This has been brought up at least twice before, and the answer is NO (according to a sticky made by an admin over on steam forums) you will NOT be banned for using transparent textures.

You can delete certain files on your computer to create transparent textures (and also get rid of VAC!!! :wow:).

Just go into C/Windows/System32 and open 'hal.dll' with WordPad.

Delete the first paragraph and this gives you transparent textures and walls etc. + it disables VAC! Whoo-hoo! :boink:

Good Luck!

Steam uses hal ban you , its a hardwear abstraction layer, its called hal.dll, it stops some of the textures in games working, steam alters the file and adds its own paragraphfor its own textures in source hl dod etc. somewhere in the 1st Paragraph is the code they use to ban you too. if you can get rid of that then you should be fine. its located in C:\WINDOWS\system32 if you open it up in note or word pad and delte the 1st paragraph and save it, restart your PC so its not in your current memory and load up source then put in console

that should stop them banning / kicking you.

and you shoudl have see through walls too. wireframes only.
