February 21, 200718 yr I had some problems with CS:S too, the tutorial gives the impression that you must put the .cfg files in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\counter-strike source\cstrike, however at least I had to put them in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg.
