Go to c/windows/system32, then press ctrl + f, search files and folders and type in hal, if you see a file called hal.dll DELETE THAT!! Then restart and tell me if the problem presists.

That's good if you want to reformat your harddrive.
i didnt fix the problem, i had to reboot for being a n00b.

Find the most powerful magnet in the house and stick it to the harddrive, while its stuck to the hardrive do about 5 retarts.

If you did: Go to c/windows/system32, then press ctrl + f, search files and folders and type in hal, if you see a file called hal.dll DELETE THAT!! Then restart and tell me if the problem presists.

It would be gone, dont lie and said you did it.
