Posted February 26, 200718 yr I have a shitty Processor 1.53ghz. And maps load pretty slow so I was wondering if I increase my RAM to 1gb+ ( I currently have 512mb) if they would load faster or should I just buy a new processor. I'm actually thinking about buying a whole new computer completely.
February 26, 200718 yr I have a 2.00 GHz processor , 512MB of ram and i find that if you use the wall hacked maps from http://www.mpcdownloads.com/forums/downloads/CS-Source/ThorHack-1.0/6416.html they load much faster imo.
February 26, 200718 yr 1GB of ram will definetly help, especially if its rated a faster speed. But you definetly need a new processor too.
February 26, 200718 yr dude, my cpu is 3.1-4 and its still slow by todays standards buy yourself a) a decent cpu b) a good motherboard c) 2mg of ram d) a gfx card in the 7000+ series. or you could just stick some more ram inside and turn down your gfx settings.
