Posted March 2, 200718 yr so ive got around a 1000 dollar budget and i would like to build a computer that is able to play most if not all the games that are out right now, thats pretty much its only use except for music/movies which leads me to my next question is it cheaper to buy an external 200 gb hardrive than an internal one, also is the file transfer really slow (if say moving 20 gigs of music from internal hd to external?) i havent even looked at hardware for probably 3 years now so i dont know if tigerdirect and newegg are the best retailers or what i should get, so please tell me what you would suggest, also pmed links to windows xp would be much appreciated. also case doesnt mean shit to mean, one that cools efficiently is fine im not trying to show my computer off to girls.

External drives are more for backup than anything else.
