I was wondering how you make it so that you do not appear in the player list so that other players cannot mute you. I've seen other ragers do it and i've been wondering how you do this.

In 1.6 you just add a quotation mark after your name on the friends list. You name should appear like this:

 

Player"

 

As far as I know, you can't do any such thing in Source.
