Posted March 14, 200718 yr As promised we have added to the site the recent article in the Computer Games Magazine April 2007 issue about us. A scan of the part about us can be found in our Articles section. If you want to read the full article, which is much longer and a very good read, you will need to pickup a copy of the magazine at a retail store that carries it. Oddly enough as I release this today, rumors come out that CGM, which has been around since 1988, may be shutdown and canceled. This is said to be due to financial problems its parent company faces, which may be in part caused by legal problems.

March 14, 200718 yr i didnt know about the shut-down. are we sure that's confirmed? i am going to ask him if he knows anything about it; because i am currently doing an article for him. i doubt theyd be working articles with people if they were closing. but that really sucks if it is true; CGM is the smart gamer's magazine compared to other PC gaming mags out there. thanks guys! it was a great pleasure.

No confirmation yet, but word is the phones at CGM have been shut off already. Hopefully this is not the case, hate to see a magazine fail because of its parent company and not actually anything they had done wrong. That also sucks if you were working on additional articles for them. Let us know if you find out more.

The interview was provided to help out the author with thier article, which in turn provides the benefit to myg0t of further exposure in print. Even if myg0t was not given exposure or quoted, I still would of helped out, because I am just that type of person. The interview was done online. As for not mentioning g0d, there was no reason to. The interview had specific questions, none of which included the need to credit any individual of myg0t. Had the question come up of who had started myg0t, then of course his name would of been mentioned, even if he is no longer a part of this community due to his drug additions.

March 15, 200718 yr I noticed in the "About section" myg0t vs. ****: There is some conflict that exists between **** and myg0t due primarily to the fact that **** has a wiki page and myg0t does not. **** prides themselves in being put up for deletion over twenty times, each time failing. myg0t, on the other hand, has been deleted over twenty times. myg0t has mentions in three magazines (Rolling Stone, PC Zone, and PC Format), a mention on CNN.com, and were named in a BangBus.com promotional video. However, this was not good enough for the Wikipedophiles since BangBus.com features "of-age" women. Other than that, **** is A-OK in the myg0t book. It's 4 articles now. :D Oh, and the article was pretty awesome, now we're going to see a flood of new signups followed by "LOLZ I NEEDS TEH CHEATS LOLZ"
March 16, 200718 yr FWIW you guys might want to try to actually get a print copy of this at your nearest bn/borders/etc because this really is the last issue of CGM. you're in what will probably be a collector's item sometime down the road! grats guys! hopefully we see the CGM staff soon doing this kind of great work.
