I did to eat it, but then I found out the potato salad was bad =/

4.30 pm on Saturday here so looks like I'm the first.

 

Everyone will at some point in their internet life come across the Chopped Pork Spam, and laugh because it is the same word as spamming on the internet. But how many of you have actually tried it? This is my Spam Sandwhich:

 

I started by going to Tesco

and going to the shelf that contained Spam

I bought the small one that cost 88p. At home, I decided to make the Spamwhich they suggest on the side. A roll, spam, cheese, relish, tomato and onions. Here are the ingredients. Ignore the peaches and I forgot the relish.

First I cut two spam slices and put them under the grill to brown, meanwhile cuting the roll in half and buttering both sides.

Next adding relish to the top half.

Then two slices of cheese on each half.

Once the spam was nicly brown

I put it onto the bottom half of the roll

Then put tomato on top of it

Then adding the onion, I love raw onion so no need to cook.

Put the top half on top, and you now have a delicious looking Spamwhich.

My verdict? Spam is disgusting. It has a horrible processed taste to it, the only reason I ate most of it was because the rest of the stuff I put on it disguised the taste. When I got to the end and it was mostly spam, I couldn't eat anymore.

- I apparently need to state that A sandwich is stuff between two pieces of bread. A US Judge has ruled that wraps, burritos, and shit like that are not sandwiches.

So help me god if you post a non-sandwich I will kick you in the nuts.

hahah your problem was you used way too much spam, thinner slices would have helped you actually cook /enjoy it better

Looks to me like I'm the second sandwich, hope you all enjoy.

 

Ingredients:

 

Bread

Butter

Cheese (Kraft singles, teh m3n)

Ham

Salami

Mustard

 

Procedure:

 

Start by toasting the bread lightly, just enough so it's crisp and warm. Then, butter it.

Next, put some Kraft singles (not that crappy generic stuff) on the bread and melt it; either by microwave, or on a pan like me. As you can tell, the cheese is nice and melted.

This is where the true m3nliness of the sandwich comes in. Top the cheese generously with some ham. I used thin sliced deli ham. Try to get a good half inch of ham on both pieces.

Add some salami. I would use some nice deli stuff, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I just used some Oscar Meyer, pretty much the same effect.

Lightly top with some Mexican cheese, this gives it a real bite. A good alternative would be pepper jack. Melt that like you did the other cheese. I would suggest using a pan, because microwaving makes the meat loose it's valuable falvour and juices.

Now, you need some sort of condiment to call it a sandwich. I like a little bit of mustard. Put a little on a knife and spread it in with the now melted cheese.

Your sandwich is now done. Just put together the two pieces and enjoy. If done correctly, the toast should still be crispy, and it will be a delight.

There should be a good inch and a half of meat in there, the main ingredient for a m3nwich. Vote for me if you like my sandwich and think I should have won last year!

The King Of Kings

 

Ingredients:

 

Six slices of hovis brown bread

One packet of shredded mozzarella

Four slices of Wiltshire honey cured gammon ham

One chicken breast

A handful of iceberg lettuce

A tub of butter

A pot of mayonnaise

Olive oil

(Grounded pepper optional)

 

Instructions:

 

1. Lay four pieces of bread on a cutting board and lather, evenly, with shredded mozzarella.

2. Place the recently cheese covered pieces of bread, along with two blank pieces of bread, in a baking tray.

3. Place the baking tray in the oven and set the temperature to one hundred and fifty degrees centigrade.

4. Slice up the raw chicken breast into small pieces and fry in a pan with a mixture of olive oil and butter. Add some grounded pepper if you please.

5. Once it is evident that the cheese has softened, remove the baking tray from the oven and place on heat proof mat. Take the recently fried chicken and careful place the pieces evenly across two of cheese covered pieces of bread. Also place two pieces of Wiltshire honey cured gammon ham each on the other two cheese covered pieces of bread. The cheese will hold the chicken and gammon ham in place, allowing for easier eating once cooking is complete.

6. Place the baking tray back in the oven and set the temperature to two hundred degrees centigrade.

7. After a further five minutes in the oven, remove the two blank pieces of bread from the oven, but leave the meat covered pieces.
