Posted March 30, 200718 yr Heads up on an upcoming mod for HL2. From what i can see, it looks like a cross between CSS and America's Army. According to a sticky in their forums, we can expect this to be released by late April. Looks pretty good from screenies alone, and should be fairly rageable with voiceannoys and such, on top of any teamkill potential. March 30, 200718 yr if they want to play armed assault that badly why not just download it instead of making a mod about it
March 31, 200718 yr Respawn system The respawn system is a pool system, when one person dies they are placed in a pool. That pool will build up with other players that have died for a set amount of time. When the timer reaches zero, all the players that are currently waiting will respawn, and the process repeats. Squad commanders will also be able to call for reinforcements, which forces their squad to spawn in the next 5 seconds. When the players in his squad spawn, they are shown where the location of the "reinforcement calling" was from so that they can link up with their squad easily. Sounds rageable.
