I didn't pay much attention in US history. :( On second thought, make that 1941 because by the time 1942 rolled around we'd already mobilized and headed off towards Japan, right? I do know that D-Day, the first beach landing happened in Normandy, France on June 6th, 1944 but that's only because my great grandfather was a combat engineer (Sent in to fix jeeps/tanks/artillery at the snap of a finger, Combat engineers didn't see much combat, but they, like everyone else, got their fair share) who landed alongside soldiers for the fight up the beaches. He doesn't talk about it anymore because it's too emotionally scarring and I would probably do the same. Watching fellow countrymen and friends alike being blown into pieces and ripped to shreds in front of your eyes.. Yuck, anyways. :P You're absolutely right Tom. And that doesnt surprise me comming from you. But, when I speak to normal americans(dumb asses) I get the 1939 and even some 1936 sometimes. Even after giving them the google search option, they never understand.

April 8, 200718 yr You know. I find it funny that certain countrymen say there life styles and livings are so much more better then american lifestyles. And I actually agree. But you know what? Those are the same countries doing absolutely nothing in the world but medical, chemical, and weapons. I mean seriously. You don't have any say anywhere about anything. But with that comes little responsibility. Im sure your governments feed certain countires, while trying to protect certain countries from collapsing, while getting shot at from the civilians being brainwashed by certain groups who want chaos. If America stopped giving money to other countries and pulled back there armies, there would be another ww3. Its bad enough Europe denies that terrorists exist that want to kill them. All Europe does these days is try to go against its greatest ally it has, America. Well its going to be pretty funny when your ass will be begging for help against the terrorist because from the looks of the Earth, Europe is boarding Allah land itself.
