Oh, clubbing, that's cool. Yeah, I do that all the time, man. :wow: :wow: :wow: Very rarely I'll hear a faint ringing in my ear as I'm trying to get to sleep. I usually just yawn and jab a q-tip in my ear about 15 times. It goes away.:wow: :wow:

shit how long u had that for? how u get it?

shit how long u had that for? how u get it?

i spend my days around loud people or loud cars, when i go to bed at night or when its quiet i can hear it, i dunno how long iv had it, but trust me, you will either a) go insane and start punching your ears

b) live with it

c) never notice it.

d) infact its extreamly common, i bet if yall turned off your pcs etc you would hear it.

i notice it after iv been listening to music, its absolutley nothing to worry about,

and remeber, if it does get intence, just watch tv or listen to some music. (quiet music ffs)

tinnitus sucks, i know cause i have it too, and ive had it for about 6 years lolz

back then i would allways listen to my cdplayer with headphones for long periods of time with the volume really loud

now its eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee all the time

but after all those years with it u really do get used to it and now its not a problem anymore, its kinda 'the normal' now

when ever i get done playing drums for more than a half hour for practicing, my hearing starts to go. if im playing along with a guitar player than my ears ring for 2 - 4 days after words. im used to it now, but play soft music when you go to sleep, it actually helps clear up the ringing.

THERE GOES YOUR HEARING

No...but I have lost a considerable amount of my vision from looking at your ugly ass.

I've had T since I was young im 22 now, my advice is give it a few more days before going to the doc's, do not go clubbing again and if you do wear ear plugs and have frequent breaks away from the speakers. I don't go clubbing anymore because I can't risk my ears, it isn't just T that sucks imagine hearing loss, the more hearing loss the less you can drown out the T. Be careful you only get one pair of ears.

SECONDED!!!

jeez didnt know tinnitus was so common, thanks for all the advice guys

didnt you read that wiki page about the people put in a sound proof room, 97% had it, its extreamly common, ask anyone if they can hear ringing when its quiet, i bet they will say yes.

I have this shiz too, used to have loud subs in my car, thats what I put it down to. I just kinda noticed it one day and it never went away. Was really anxious about it at first but now its just whatever. You can get a device that will play an equal and oposite waveform of your ringing, and so cancel it out. That only helps the initial anxiety of it, you should just try and get used to it. Mine gets a lot worse if Im stressed but on the other hand I totaly forget about it some days, ocasionally for days at a time.

All that ofcourse only applies if what you have is long term and doesnt disappear in a few days.

ahh cool, well its been a week now, and the ringing is almost unnoticeable in my right and noticeable in my left especially when silent. does a week of constant tinnitus constitute permanent T? finding it hard to sleep i'm buying an mp3 player and putting wave sounds on it etc.

i'm seeing my doc on may 1st thats to do with my fractured wrist but going to mention this at the same time. i'm much less worried about it seeing replies like yours in this thread and its helpful to realise that if you just don't worry about it it gets better.
