Posted April 15, 200718 yr i am using HLSS to play sounds in CSS but i am getting annoyed at getting kicked so i was wondering if there is a way to make it so it doesnt show me as being the one playing the sounds?
April 15, 200718 yr i developed a little technique thats easy and pretty efective, its not my best way (but would you post your secret way? only to find valve patching it?) but its ok: a)find a name allmost aslong as the bar that shows the name when usin mic b) copy it and add spaces + IM THE REAL ONE to the end of it c) when they see you spamming, they actually see the name you robbed, and not the "REAL" bit. add a voteban to the real real guy and it seems alot more realistic. wow alot of reals.
April 15, 200718 yr Horrible method boobs, here is the only good way. 1) Join the server and type status in console, leave server 2) Look under the list that status brought up and find a name that has a space in it, preferably not a member of the clan that owns the server 3) Replace the space with a null character (alt+0160), and set it as your name 4) Rejoin, spam, and as boob said, voteban the real one so the other players vote for him assuming it's you. 5) Check tab routinely to make sure that they haven't left or changed name, if they do, leave and repeat.
