April 16, 200718 yr The new mayhem has been released on torrents for a while. as for what i'm currently enjoying: new cephalic: good, but not as crushing as lucid intervals, better then anomalies. Odious Mortem: awesome, I saw them live at the bloodletting V tour with decrepit birth. Ulcerate: great death metal release. new Devin Townsend: great release, just like all his other solo project records. waiting for: new disavowed new nile new behemoth

April 16, 200718 yr i remember a time when i would get excited by new music. Nothing has inspired me in a long time the only thing new i even know of is the new NIN coming soon which i'll pick up. music is really in the crapper, i remember when i was young and going to metal shows thinking "man what is the evolution of music gonna be like?how can it get more extreme than this??". well it certainly has gotten more extreme, but it sucks. every song sounds like that last, cant even hear the lyrics and forget about going to shows. what is the kickin and punching shit in the pit? mosh around and loose yourself rejects... all that dancing and organization really bothers me. the whole scene is clone worship. anyway hopefully music will get its shit together. if not i'v got a good 30 years of quality music to catch up on so fuck'em.
