April 16, 200718 yr Geesus;466191']none of the bands posted are emo. get educated, and stop being ignorant. emo isn't even a music genre..its just a blown-out of proportion insult for overly-sentimental people and/ or music. Real, pure emo evolved out of the punk scene and had nothing to do with wrist slitting or crying or any of that garbage. But of course no band in their right mind would dare labell themselves as emo like they used to..I remember wayyy back in the day when my friend's band safely labelled themselves emo..we're talking way before the new millenium...they weren't wrist slitting , tragic poets.. in fact the album cover was just a bunch of people goofing around and jumping into a pool. ah well..what can you do.
