Posted April 16, 200718 yr I've been having extreme difficulties with the networking ability of one of my computers lately. When I first got this computer, it was quite networkeable and had only one or two bugs when folders were shared between it and my older computer. Over time however, I have been steadily losing connectivity to folders that were shared, and been unable to access them from my other computer again. The problem has gotten to its worst in the past month with the loss of access to my printer from other computers, the complete loss of access to shared folders on this computer (files on the other computer are still accessable from the computer in question), and the inability to play mp3s from my computer on my xbox 360, which I used to be able to do. What is up with my pc? :dunno:

April 21, 200718 yr Author check ur "Event Viewer"...look for errors How on earth do i use the event viewer? I did find several errors, most of them application hangs and alot of them are errors caused by McAfee AV, nothing that I saw suggested network problems. I saw alot of warnings too as well as a service that failed to start many times that I have no idea what it is, "Mpintbmectu" :dunno:
April 22, 200718 yr Double-click on one of the errors...a window should pop open with lots of detail about the errors ur getting. I 'use' event viewer by writing down the info I get in the veiwer windows... Source: Category: Type: Event ID: also, there may be a link inside the window that will take you to a page that may explain what's going on. I dunno wtf "Mpintbmectu" is. Hhhhmmmm...I gotta think about that one... Give us some details... Source: Category: Type: Event ID: We'll see what we can do after that...
