April 30, 200718 yr New monitor, but that probably won't fix it because most LCDs have one or two dead pixels or develop them over time.

April 30, 200718 yr JOhn, go onto OCN overclock.net On there, search for like 'Dead Pixel' or something. There is a program there that fixes it. It happened to mine, and it worked. I don't know what the program is called though, sorry.
May 1, 200718 yr well sometimes this can help get a damp warm cloth and gently press on the area of the dead pixel it will push it back in to place worked a few times for me, try it out
May 1, 200718 yr When i got my LCD i got lucky as shit and didnt have 1 dead pixel. But now ive noticed every so often while im gaming my screen will go green, not horribly green but green tintish so to say. GL, but ive never heard of a fix for dead pixels, but i know very little about monitors.
May 1, 200718 yr dead pixels are manufacturing defects, theres usually some disclaimer that comes with lcd's about how a certain % of dead pixels are to be expected and the manufacturer wont do anything about it unless a big piece of the screen is fucked
