May 1, 200718 yr I only ever use fraps, and that lags the fuck out of you. But its better than nothing I guess.

May 7, 200718 yr SnagIt? Most of the stuff from TechSmith does what you're looking for. When I want to capture a screen of a movie I just open up Virtual Dub, though.

I also thought it was pretty well established that you shouldn't run Fraps while playing (unless you have a pretty decent computer), but rather record a demo, then Fraps that.
