March 25, 200421 yr Author the deleted scenes is better than the actual retail. in the retail, you choose a map, whether its de_dust de_aztec or ext. you pick your teamates based on skill, co-op, and bravery. after that you join the game, it gives you a list of objectives. mainly the objectives are like: kill 5 people, kill 2 people with sniper rifle, rescue 2 hostages, and so on. it is basically playing online with retarted people. that is all the single player is. its quite pathetic and not worth 30 dollars the deleted scenes are what you say in the anon release. btw, anon was actually valve trying to buy more time before release.

I bought the full retail and I think it's super leet leet leet. The levels are amazing, the models and textures are top notch, and the bot AI is nothing short of awe-inspiring. In team mode I was playing on the military base level and when I encountered a group of enemies they ran away and I was like wtf??!! WTF!???! BUT THEN THEY CAME AROUND BEHIND ME AND I WAS LIKE OH SHIT VALVE Is FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!! THE CODING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So even though I paid fifty dollars for it (my local store was out of copies except for the "Platinum Addition" which has some hint books and stuff I don't need) it was money well spent. I'm going to play right now.

It had the same charm of watching Die Hard or something, appealing even though you know it's a steaming pile of shit.
