Posted May 4, 200718 yr Can someone explain to me how to convert an image to a counter-strike spray. *for raging purposes.
May 4, 200718 yr Step 1: Get the image you want to become your spray and edit it to your liking. Intense detail isn't a factor, as it is going to be really small (By our standard) anyways. However, it should be pretty large when you spray it in game. Step 2: (Or 1b, whatever) Once you have your image finished, make sure it is the right size. For Half-Life Decal Converter 1.3, you're going to want to use this chart. http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/5218/sizechart0cd2kn.th.gif All you have to do is line up your desired hight or width, HL DC should do the rest. Step 3: Open up HL DC, fix the dimensions. If you wanted transparency, set up the proper color. Once that's all done, click Decal > Make Decal It will place it where ever you told it to in the setup. Step 4: Find the file. Rename it 'tempdecal' Place the file in your 'steamapps/username/counter-strike/cstrike' folder Make it Read Only Step 5: Test Finished. If you were talking about Source, you should have mentioned. EDIT: If anyone wants a tutorial for Wally and doesn't feel like using Google, just ask. (I'm fairly bored today.)
