Posted May 11, 200717 yr I found a great site that lists thousands of anonymous web proxies, http://www.proxy.org/ For those who can't think of a reason to use a web proxy here's a few that I can think of right off the top of my head: visit porn sites blocked by your school visit sites blocked by your government visit sites blocked by your cult or religious group bypass ip bans on forums and message boards use multiple user accounts on forums and message boards for better rage/spam coverage extra layer of security for those who cram their hats with tinfoil :wow:

May 11, 200717 yr Yea, school already blocked anything with "Proxy" in it. So you have to make your own site and password it and give out to a few friends.
May 12, 200717 yr most filters have "proxy" filtered, so either write some proxies down before you go to class/work etc, or you can set up a VPN and tunnel out, easiest way to do that is just use AOL. yeah aol sucks, but its nice for tunneling out behind filters
