May 12, 200717 yr I have built and sold a few rigs and I never get the money back out of them. Other than the proc and the cheap value select ram, it doesn't seem like a bad little system. I would suggest upgrade before a complete overhaul. What CPU socket is that mobo?
May 12, 200717 yr Author Ya those are the 2 things that will hurt the selling the most. Ive been wanting to upgrade those but if i can get a new PC for this one + a couple hundred bucks im all for it. Its a 939 skt. I spent the last hour skimming through newegg just to check out prices and i made a really quick wish list as to what i might get. http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811208013 http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813131163 http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814130082 http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819103759 http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820134125 http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16822152052 Thats it minus the dvd rom and burner. Its 1018.42 total and before a couple rebates. But ill definately shop around a little more before i actually buy it.
May 13, 200717 yr Don't get me wrong, you have a nice system spec'd out there, but... Upgrade your 939. I wasn't impressed with AM2. Use the money saved to get the 640MB version of the 8800GTS.
May 13, 200717 yr Just rob some fool or rob a pc from somewhere - no need to pay for ALL the parts ;)
