Posted May 16, 200717 yr Specs: CPU: AM2 DualCore 5600+ 3D Card: Nvidia 7600GT RAM: 2gig DDR2 Case: http://www.pccasegear.com.au/images/ninja_blk1_1.jpg Plays everything thing on max graphics, its fucking awesome, I love it when you get a new system then you can go back and play all the shit your crappy older hardware couldnt play nearly half as good and I havnt even overclocked yet
May 16, 200717 yr thats kind of a shitty setup bro, and that case is butt. why didnt you get intel core 2 duo / Geforce 8800GTS ? at least you didnt get 4 gigs of ram thinking XP 32-bit would recognize it. but yeah, that case is butt
May 16, 200717 yr p.s. what is the rest of your setup? psu mb hd's etc. when did you buy it? intel CPU prices went down 50% on monday, shoulda waited. ATI's R600 dx10 card just came out and it gets spanked by the 8800GTX. but then again the GTX is $100 more, but... it came out 6 months ago. ati's newest card is meant to compete with the 8800GTS, i want to see what ati has in store when their new card comes out. does your motherboard support DDR3? ever think of a crossfire/sli configuration?
May 16, 200717 yr Those AM2 5600+ are at a really sweet price right now and overclock very nicely. Only thing though I would of got a 8800 GTS 320MB video card, so you won't have to upgrade again for DX10.
May 16, 200717 yr Author yeah i would of liked to get a 8800 card but its too expensive for me at the moment, maybe ill get one after crysis comes out you can allways wire me some money lol
May 16, 200717 yr depends on what resolution he plays on. but yeah i'd get 512+ just for bragging rights
May 16, 200717 yr Pretty cases are simply for LAN bragging rights. Spend less money on the case and have a rape setup hidden inside. I was happy till I saw the GFX card. :O_o:

May 16, 200717 yr yeah i got my new computer a couple weeks ago, its bitchin' http://www.nzxt.com/image/6/19/ NZXT Apollo Case Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Dual Core Processor LGA775 Conroe 2.13GHZ 1066FSB http://img.ncix.com/gif/20496.JPG EVGA E-GEFORCE 7900GS KO 500MHZ 256MB 256BIT 1.38GHZ GDDR3 http://img.ncix.com/images/19337_19337-l.jpg OCZ Platinum XTC REV.2 PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 320GB SATA HD
May 17, 200717 yr i should really upgrade to an 8800 series but my 6800gs still runs everything on high just fine so ill hold off
May 17, 200717 yr Jedi Pimp;474942']agreed. Im thinking of upgrading my antec p160 case and moving up to the 900. I just upgraded my PSU from a 500w antec to a 750W Quad Silencer from PC Power Cooling, and upgraded my vid card from ATI 850 XTPE to an EGVA 8800 GTS 640 MB version. Rest of my specs are: Intel P D830 @ 3 Ghz 2 Gig PC2 6400 74 Gig WD Raptor Asus P5WD2 Premium Toshiba DVD burner sweet setup but what kind of monitor are you using? the 320mb and 640mb perform almost the same and you see no performance boost unless you are using 1600x1200 resolution or higher, then it starts to bottleneck. 640mb card must be sweet... you wont have to upgrade your card for a while. you can run every game out right now on max with AA/AF on with no lag huh. when actual DX10 GAMES come out i will update my system... ive been thinking about it but im gonna wait a few more months and save up money. SourceX;474944']i should really upgrade to an 8800 series but my 6800gs still runs everything on high just fine so ill hold off yup you should definately hold off, by the time games come out that will actually use the technology, there will be cheaper and better cards

May 17, 200717 yr Author MONEY SENT thanks :) I might upgrade to a 8800 later on in the year after crysis comes out and the prices go down, shits expensive u know, combined with the cost of living, food, fuel for the car and drugs, cant forget about drugs...... but in the meantime this new system plays everything great
