May 24, 200717 yr yeh it was fake, fucking pointless. of course it was fake. in the end the "diamonds" had perfect shape and cuts. yeah that was made from burnt piece of peanut butter
May 24, 200717 yr of course it was fake. in the end the "diamonds" had perfect shape and cuts. yeah that was made from burnt piece of peanut butter lol yeh i was gonna say when i looked at em closely... :naughtyd:
May 24, 200717 yr Probably fake, but if this was real I am soooooooo in. :naughtyd: probably? if you thought you could make diamonds out of peanut butter and coal in the microwave, you deserve to be curb stomped.
May 24, 200717 yr d0wn;476523']probably? if you thought you could make diamonds out of peanut butter and coal in the microwave' date=' you deserve to be curb stomped.[/quote'] I say "probably" because there is some element of truth to what they are saying. Diamonds form under intense heat and pressure, and 60 minutes in a microwave would provide a pretty huge amount of heat, potentially enough to make diamonds. However, there is no intense pressure in the microwave, which is why I realize now that it is definitely fake.

Hahahhahhaha, the heat from a microwave would never create enough heat to create diamonds.

However, there is no intense pressure in the microwave, which is why I realize now that it is definitely fake. to elaboratez .. 1. teh boiling point of teh carbon is 4400 degrees Celsius 2. the pressure in a microwave is nothing compared to nitrogen manufacturing (Haber Process) which still does have not enough pressure 2 make diamons in addtion to teh points ppl made here of course as he sayz ... Hahahhahhaha, the heat from a microwave would never create enough heat to create diamonds.

Boiling point has nothing to do with it, diamond forms in the range between 900–1300°C. A standard microwave can produce about 500°C of heat, which alone is not enough, but assuming that something in the microwave ignited (peanut butter?), the temperature would very quickly be above 1000°C, considering how much fats and other fuels there are in peanut butter. The peanut butter would only burn long enough to raise the temperature because there is not much of it, but being constantly bombarded with microwaves might keep you a little hot ya know? BTW, I know the pressure is not enough, and that is the main flaw with this vid, but you don't have to repeat what I have already said in the quote that you made.
