waaa!

tomorrow im gonna go to radio shack and get a blue LED like in the first link ^_____^

i showed my friends expecting some "omg you should die" but they all want one too

side of a CD-R spindle like the site said

works good

although teh pictures dont really show it, mine is kind of messy because i accidentally ground some edge with the spinning part of the dremel that isnt meant for cutting

like the driveshaft part thing, and i did it a few times before i noticed what was going on. i hope i dont fuck up my friends'; mices

i epoxy'd the thing on through the back

it looks OK and feels fine under your hand but i want my window to be mistier like a sandblast or something

i hate this laser mouse, when i move too fast it flips out or sometimes gets stuck

That generaly happens when you have a low dpi mouse, 800dpi or lower will do that all the time when you move it quickly because the laser cannot register the movement properly. Try buying a new mouse (preferably a decent brand) and see how it goes. If you still have the problem, get a mouse like mine - Dual optical Logitech, 2 x 800 dpi lasers, never have any problems ;).

yeah i dont get how you make it all smooth in the end

???

anyway, here's the final product

After movement (when your mouse would be glowing brighter, get it?)

i love it to bits, and it was pretty easy... first mod so it took a total of like an hour :p

nice, what did you use to cover the hole?
WTF... why would your mouse need cooling.
