I was just wondering if there was a hack for CS: Source that removes your name from the player list so people can't mute you. Does anybody know of one?
There use to be a glitch with steam friends. You would change your name to "`" or "%" in steamfriends and then people couldn't mute you. Unfortunetly thats been fixed because now you can't have a name shorter than 2 digits.

You can just rename urself to some other player who has a space in its name. And fake the space with ALT 0160

I just tested that theory, and to find that it works m0st of the time indeed it works. It now instead of 'E,, changed my name to s .

NECRO

just got off 1.6, and switched to cz, just to see if this worked

is there any other way to mask playerlist name on condition zero, since for me (idk if it is supposed to) the " didnt work, with or without the space in front of it. it works in 1.6 for me though

does anyone know how to make this work for cz?

(space) just makes my original playername go back the same?

help
