June 21, 200717 yr Author Can't you get a server that other people over the internet can go on atleast? :repost:
June 21, 200717 yr Go to any site that offers CS:S server hosting. Check out all the servers they have to offer. Find one that you're interested in and remember the name. Then get live support from them. Say this to them, "I'm interested in purchasing a (insert server type/name here) but I was wondering if there is any way I could test one out before buying." They'll usually give you an IP and password to a server so you can test out their services. It's only up for a few hours or maybe a day. Once it gets closed just go to a different hosting site and do it over again. You can reuse the same hosting site but if you ask constantly they'll figure out what you're doing.

They let you do that?
