Posted June 28, 200717 yr Hey, I bought this new pc a while back, here are the specs: CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+, 2611 MHz Motherboard: ASUS M2N32-SLI DELUXE VGA card: ATI Radeon X1950 512Mb If that's not enough info you can ask me for more. The problem is, some programs and games only work once after installation, and won't work after that. I will have to re-install the program or game for it to work again, and battlefield 2 won't work after I patch it. It will only work before the patch. I was thinking that I was missing some programming libraries or something, but I don't know I got all that I need, directx, java runtime environment, .net framework... etc any help would be appreciated.
June 28, 200717 yr are you installing these games as an 'administrator', then playing them as a 'regular' user?
June 28, 200717 yr I'm assuming you have Windows XP. Click 'start' 'control panel' 'administrative controls' 'event viewer' on the left side of the window, you'll see: 'Application' 'Security' 'System' Just click on those three, one by one, then post screenshot of each. We'll tell you what to do afterwards.
