Posted July 10, 200717 yr I just got my first job working as a steward at Zellers (similar chain to wal-mart but smaller and less gay). My job is to lay out stock for the night shifters, do carry outs and organize stock in the back room. I'm on my feet for 7 hours straight, and only get a 15 min and 30 min break, my feet are fucking killing me. Is this something that comes with being new to being on my feet so long, or should I invest in some REALLY comfy shoes? BTW - Steel toed shoes are mandatory in the back room
July 10, 200717 yr Yah the pain is from being on your feet all day. The pain won't go away but you'll get use to it. Buying comfortable shoes is also a good idea but i'm stuck with steel-toed boots in a factory.

July 10, 200717 yr I fucking love the type of job you described capslock. Anything beats fuckin service departments and having to talk to people, especially when someone isn't satisfied. Retail jobs in general are the shittiest jobs in the developed world.
