I was playing dead rising and After 5 mins In-game I heard my 360 Grind and I restarted my 360 afraid of letting it grind more, And 3 days later I tried playing today And My 360 Make's a beeping noise whenever I put in a cd, And gives me a disc read error. Anyone got any tips or can help me Thanks.
August 3, 200717 yr You getting any red rings? I think the rings will tell whats wrong by the order they go in. Like bios beeping is a code. I could be wrong though.

August 4, 200717 yr If your system is one of the older ones, then you can call xbox support center, and if it's faulty they will send you a new one granted you explain all the problems correctly, and still have a warranty.

Anyone got any tips or can help me Thanks. Well, seeing as you need moving parts to create a grinding noise, the problem can be narrowed down to either your HDD or your DVD drive. Seeing as you are getting disc read errors, I would say that your DVD drive has gone belly-up. Is your console still under the original warranty (have had it for less than one year) or are you on an extended warranty, or no warranty at all. Only call Microsoft for repairs if you are still on your original warranty or no warranty, otherwise return it to your retailer and have them replace it. Expect to wait on hold for Microsoft support for about 30min (That's how long I waited only 2 days ago :happysad:, my console died too) Hate to say it, but your old console is toast :tear:
