So what if it's cheaper in the Dominican Republic, keep it safe and let the pro smugglers do the work.

Its not worth it. Maybe other drugs like Coke, Heroin etc... Might be worth the risk, but you can get pot anywhere. And at the most whats the profit he'll make? 150 to 200$ ?
