Ok so when i first tried Garry's mod it was free. Now i see it in steam games for $10, and see threads about GMOD10.

EDIT: Actually I'm pretty sure the first GMod was private. Wasn't is 3 or 4 that was the first public, multiplayer version?

Gmod 10 is the one you buy, Gmod9 is the older shittier(by itself) version.
