Posted August 10, 200717 yr I am having couple of problems with HLSS. 1. My HLSS only plays one song(what is love). But I have other songs too. I even deleted that song(what is love) and thats the only thing it plays. 2. All my wav files play fast forward in HLSS. I play the wav files, its normal when I go in CSS, it plays fast forwarded. I have one question. Is there a way to not get muted? I tried using " end of your name, but steam doesn't allow it. Thanks guys.

( SteamApps\account-name\counter-strike source ) 2. Usually, this means you don't have the frequency of the song set properly. For Source, the recommended is 16 Bit Mono, 11025 Hz. And no, that quote after your name only works for GoldSource games (Games based on HL1).
August 10, 200717 yr If you want a good chance at not being muted, then try name stealing names with a space. Usually there will be a good chance that an innocent player will be muted. Just use fake spaces.
August 10, 200717 yr I tried in cs 1.6 putting " end of your name won't work. It works for any Half-Life 1 mod. oh yeah isn't that ctrl and 0160? Yes. Also, you don't put the quote at the end of your name, like: name "Contracter"" You add it to the end of your name on friends. http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/4940/etc1cs0.png Not sure how effective this is going to be, considering the addition of the Steam Community.
