August 14, 200717 yr Author Because Dell monitors are damn good. They buy their panels from LG Phillips, rebrand, and sell them for cheap. Apple sells the exact same 30 inch monitor and charges $500 more (they are bastards). Same story with the Dell Logitech keyboard. It's kind of like buying store brand versus name brand.

Yes you could, but that is pointless. You would only get a max resolution of 1920 x 1080 or so. I get 2560 x 1600 which is ultra win.
