Anyone know anything about duplicating Adena (gold, money) in this game. Surprisingly enough, this game has AMAZING rage potential, the only problem being that you have to have enough money to get good equipment to kill new players and anyone who decides to go against you.

I've done some google searches and there are a SHIT load of pay sites for it, but I ain't doing that shit, and I don't know how to by-pass those log-in screens or whatever, cause I've never really tried it.

The game is kinda shitty, but it's something to do when I've got some free time.

All I can say is L2 graphics r teh pwn.
yeah, yeah, L2 has good graphics.
free dl? or do u have to buy it?
It's free, since it's in Open Beta. However, OMP is right, it takes for fucking ever to level up, and a lot of the items and shit are a lot which is why I posted about a duping money trick which does exist. I've just had no luck finding anything out about it.

working on it

The servers have been down for a day and a half... going crayzay.... :happysad:

edit: that high horse sig is funny as hell

I play on Erica as well.

haha yeah, I like my high horse pic too.

The only thing about this game that bothers me is that it's a huge fucking time sink. Not that other MMORPGs aren't but this one is really big. Leveling takes forever and so does getting money and since I don't plan on getting it when it goes retail, I might as well exploit the fuck out of it so I get to see more sooner.

I know there are some pathing exploits for level 26-29 Orcs somewhere North of the city of Gluoin (or however you spell it) at the Orc Barracks I think. I just don't know the details.

NCsoft is very keen about nailing anyone that exploits. Their GM staff is very active in patroling known pathing exploits. Pathing exploit will get you a warning, then a ban. Dupeing is a flat out ban. Try your luck while its OB.
Well NCsoft doesn't seem very keen on keeping their servers up and running those fucking gooks.
Lineage puts me to sleep. Only worthwhile character I've made so far is an orc fighter :sleep2:

the duping exploit is actually a marketing exploit using private stores and the "public" shops

since the town "taxes" the public shops, apparantly you can buy things as a private store, then sell them to the public store, and make the tax rate, but I haven't recieved any info on the particulars yet.

Yeah, leveling is a bitch and a half, after you hit 14...but the orcs are fun melee and the DE make GREAT war mages when you get them to 20 plus :)

That's why you do it the smart way, dude.

So far, I've done shit like the following:

While doing the raider quest (lvl 19), I've deliberately gone to the area where newbs kill golems to kill my 25 golems to make the lvl 16 ratman leader spawn...I make sure I'm in the middle of a bunch of little newbies when I kill my 25th goblin, and run past the nearest newb before he completes spawning, so that he aggros on the n00bs and kills them all...then, and only then, do I kill him...no bad karma to me.

I aggro a bunch of werewolf chieftans and/or kasha bears onto myself, and lead them carefully all the way to where the lvl 6-9 people are trying to fight imps and goblins for their low quests...then I log off, so the aggressive critters I've lead (usually numbering in the 20's, leveling between 12 and 15) will aggro on nearest PC...then I log back in in time to watch the fun.

I lead noobs asking where they can find kasha wolves or goblins or imps to fight into the middle of areas full of werewolf chieftans and bears, then unparty, and sit down, to watch them TRY to get out of their predicament.

And my favorite: put on the training gloves, and take off my good armor (now I look like a low level, and as long as I don't use magic strikes, it takes me as many hits to kill a werewolf...I make sure to sit down after every two or three, like they do, too), go to the werewolf section, and steal kills until some lvl 9-10 hits me for it...then I fast-equip my swordbreaker, bone shield, and ring mail armor, powerstrike him for my first shot, switch to cestus, iron fist him, then soulshot slam him until he dies...I stay purple for maybe 3 seconds since he hit me first.

I also make a habit of training 15-25 ww chieftans, bears, and imp chieftans on myself, running to a pair or trio of people "teaming" to kill bats, calling "help", then logging off suddenly "to avoid dying"

VERY basic rage techniques work in this game, are not against the TOS or EULA (won't get you banned or even reprimanded) and piss off people working hard to level up....I can't wait until I'm big enough to train multiple wyrms on people on the mainland safely <grin>...imagine the ditress of a party who can't kill a lvl 22 hangman's tree without a coop effort when suddenly faced with 4 lvl 35 wyrms, and every aggro I can get behind me in the execution grounds :)

PsychoBud: First of all, What server do you playon?

Secondly? Any info on that tax thing ^_^? PM me if you dont want it to be public

gys, i just signed up for beta... how long does it take to et an email from them?
