Posted April 9, 200421 yr I watch alot of movies and once in a while obtain one of the rare ones to stimulate my senses. This time around I was able to find a copy of Cannibal Holocaust, a grotesque snuff film. Think blair witch project with cannibals and a shitload of gore and rape. The story is about a reporter in New York who is going over the footage a film crew left behind in the amazon jungle. It turns out this crew consisted of bright young adults who were up to no good on their little excursion and stirred up some trouble with the natives, which eventually led to their demise. As the reporter goes through the tape the viewer is explained everything through narrative, it's like watching the Discovery Channel, but cooler. The rape and gore scenes crossed the line, I could handle them but I doubt this movie had a very wide range of audience, maybe just the sick fucks who enjoy this kind of shit. If you're looking for a movie to really disturb you, I suggest you pick this up from somewhere. Did I mention there's live animal executions? 8/10 edit: give me FTP so i can host some pics from this masterpiece.

I mean, in SNUFF films, don't the actors REALLY get killed? To be honest, I don't know a lot about snuff films.

[/sarcasm] I'm just wondering about what it looks like because most of them from that far back are kind of stupid, I don't know how to explain how they look, but I guess it's just not as advanced. (obviously)
April 9, 200421 yr I know what you mean, they just don't look, I dunno, as refined. The color quality certainly isn't as good.
April 9, 200421 yr i am surprised some of you have never heard of it, it's a classic. it's just a movie you should have seen once, nothing special. when it was released they wanted people to believe it was real, like the blair witch project. tho this is possible.
