August 28, 200717 yr Sobeit;506033']is it possible everyone in Greece is a fucking retard, and can not see a fire coming, and then engulfing their house before they have a chance to escape? houses do not spontaneously erupt into flames you stupid ***got. wildfires are actually really quick. a span of 100 feet can go up in seconds in a wild fire. as for the houses, fires start quickly. they can double in size in a minute flat. that little trash can fire outside can turn into your house full involved in a few minutes. remember, houses aren't really built out of the least flammable materials in the world: woods varnish paint plastics paper(some houses actually have old newspaper shreds as insulation, i've seen it) they'll go up in a a hurry. and they might not have been burnt to death. if the wind is blowing the fire towards them, it's also blowing the smoke. they could have suffocated or passed out from smoke inhalation or had their lungs burnt by superheated gas before the fire even reached them.
