August 29, 200717 yr there are some bruteforcing utilties out there which are probably the easiest method but beware of malware when you're using these programs because they are usually sketchy as fuck. if i knew of any private release bruteforcers i'd pm it but i don't.. best bet is to try with other members
August 29, 200717 yr Your best bet is probably to run through with a debugger and catch the line which validates the password.
August 29, 200717 yr Is the file a personal file from someone? Then get to know them and ask personal questions. Like first pet they had, whats their favorite color, number, food, music, and their relatives names. And if the file u got is from the net google up its filename and if it was from a torrent its probably a fake.
August 29, 200717 yr I've got a word list that you might be interested in if you're going to be bruteforcing it. PM me for details and I'll up it to Megaupload or Rapidshit. The word list is 240 MB uncompressed and has billions of words, just FYI.
