September 29, 200717 yr i heard it was horrible. didnt bother watching. tell me why its so horrible plz. It wasnt horrible. Out of all movie genre's, Horror is the hardest one to get approved by the general public. Unless of course its this new fad of horror movies going around called: Stolen Japanese Movies. Any horror movie thats a big hit nowadays is just a ripoff of a Jap flick. Grudge, Ring, and that new one called New Message (I think) Or its just a remake of an older title. Texas, Halloween, Hills, etc.... Horror movies never make money at the box office because everyone talks shit about them. But the people who dont like them are the people that go see the same ol action movies or teenage comedies and all they expect out of a horror movie is to be scared like they are when some ugly 5 year old little ghost girl jumps out and screams. I.E. Grudge, Ring, etc... And they are making so many remakes because everything has already been done, or it was made with a very very low budget and i dont even like low budget flicks. If they would look at the B movies and remake some of them with a budget then they would have big hits. Just look at Evil Dead. That scenario happened and Bruce Campbell is a B-Movie God now. Anyways, thats why they think it sucked. I liked it and i thought it was a great adaptation for the 21st century.
September 30, 200717 yr Saw, is ownage, and not a ripoff. Whore it's getting old now... they just make saw as an excuse to express their feelings to people in this world, that's why the horrible deaths take place in these movies.
September 30, 200717 yr Saw, is ownage, and not a ripoff. Whore Totally forgot about Saw. Probably one of the best Horror movies ever made. But now their starting to fuck it up by making more and more and more.
October 1, 200717 yr Halloween didn't work because they turned Michael Meyers into Jason... therefore, it was stupid. they also gave him a back story and made the audience sympathize with him...the thing that made Meyers so scary in the old ones is that he was inherently evil...there was no apparent explanation for why he did what he did...he came from a seemingly stable family. In the new one his family was crap and you can kind of understand why he goes nuts...which is stupid.
October 13, 200717 yr yea but its not like one day he started to be fucked up, he was always killing his animals ( when his mom bitches about having to buy another gerbil or w/e it was that he killed in the sink.) when loomis went to the school there were pics of dogs and cats i believe too. you have to pay attention to that shit because its not like he just starts killing shit
October 22, 200717 yr saw 1 2 and MAYBE EVEN JUST BARELY 3 were good dunno how 4 is going to be, maybe running out of ideas?
October 23, 200717 yr Saw wasn't really all that original. Se7en did that shit in the 90s, just based on the deadly sins. He still graphically murdered people in pretty ridiculous ways. Aside from that, I did like the new Halloween movie. It was pretty much a movie about abstinence seeing as how every couple having sex was killed. Moral of the story: you have sex, you die. I did think that a background on Myers was a pretty cool addition. It's cool to see how different people think that a character came to be. We all probably had our own thoughts. Someone above said he seemed to come from a stable family. Rob Zombie obviously thought otherwise and showed how he thought that Myers' life started out. I just think it was cool to see another person's perspective and to see a classic horror movie redone for the new century.
