I work at a bloody fish hatchery. We have mostly salmon and sturgeon, but soon it will be all sturgeon and making caviar. My job is actually kind of fun sometimes, sometimes it's repetive, but sometimes I'm in waders in a tank with 15 kg salmon and grabbing them and throwing them around, or maneuvuring a huge 'dipnet' which needs two people, one holds the handle and the other uses a pulley , and we try catching some huge ass sturgeon. Then there's shitty days where I'm mostly scrubbing tanks and throwing feed.. or filling feeders. That sucks, and also the part where everyone bitches about each other behind each others backs, and they usually bitch about them to me. I usually just nod and laugh, got me a reputation of being a 'people's person' because I just secretly hate them I don't whine about them. But most of all, and this breaks my heart, is when I don't have the energy to do art.. or flash movies :( . I've worked there for a year and everyday after work I'm wiped by 11. My gf caught me at 11:30 playing zelda while sleeping with my eyes open. goddam. Im making a cup of coffee right now so I can start on a new flash movie. i hope it works.

How much is the discount for people that work there, if there even is one?

worked at a shitty restraunt, washing shitty dishes, quit on monday because they fucked everyone in the dish pit over so many times.
I work at a dairy factory loading trucks pays 17 bucks an hour and that keeps it from sucking. Only thing I can complain about is my boss is a bitch who can't lift a damn thing but trys to tell everyone how to lift stuff.

I work in IT for a private business with about 800 employees at about 45 different locations in town. Pretty lax job when it comes to day to day shit. Some days I do very little and play games all day, others I work my ass off fixing shit.

Job is actually pretty nice and I really cannot complain.

I work at subway 4-10 most days now @ 8.50 - 9.20 an hour depending on how many people are on staff, i love it to be honest. If any one needs a job subway is where its at.

Mellow Mushroom, and i cant complain really. Only bad thing is that the schedule is up really late sometimes, so i wont know im working Monday untill Monday morning when they call me.

Best thing is that the owners are super cool. They give me money, they smoke pot and give me some if i ask for it. And they actually care about their employees.

i got the easiest job, but the most boring job. i work at the safeway fuel station, in a little soundproof kiosk. people come up to the window, pay me money, and i put gas on pumps. i usually work late shifts so usually everyone pays at the pump and dont come up to the window. i usually just sit there and doodle naked women (and some men), blast music, make weird shapes with paper clips, go outside and ride on a shopping cart, juggle, or sometimes i just sit there and think about what im doing with my damn life and why im settling for $8 an hour.

killmeplzthx

I work at a recycling plant mostly driving forklifts and making bales of cardboard ect, it is the best job in the world.
I work on a go-carting track called "Lakeside Karting" theres only one downfall and that is when it rains, other than it its fun and i get to ride the carts for 1-2 hours a day. :)
I work at the SBB (kind of "swiss train association") and it doesn't suck. i work from 6am - 2pm straight. gets me some good money for what i do.

I work for a paralyzed man, can't realy say the name of the "job" in english. Pays well and kinda nice at work, alot of slacking off and abit sleeping at job ;)

Also i'm getting another job at a nursing home, as a fill in. It's not the nicest job, but i'll take nightshifts, and nightshift + weekend = 150 % extra <3

Only thing that sucks about job is that there's less time for world of warcraft, goofing around with friends and partying in the weekends.

I'm working at a company which is a developer and supplier for complex plastic applications in car body structures.

principal customer: DaimlerChrysler, BMW, Audi and a bit of Porsche

Only thing I can complain about is I want more money, who doesn't ?

work at open kitchen down in the market area of ottawa, such repetitive work i can make every meal with my eyes closed. fortunately there are tons of hot girls down there

QFT, which is why I quit yesterday and got hired by Geek Squad.

i wash 18 wheelers all year round.... usually we are either straight up understaffed or im the only person that comes in ... i make shitty money and the trucks and trailers have to be hand brushed so ill take comet and scrub the 10 visible wheels till they shine and rinse each one off then ill start brushing the side of a trailer .... you cant brush up and down because the sides arent flat on most of them they have little ridges which would leave dirt behind so you have to brush side to side and get it spottless. then i would rinse that side off and repeat on the other side of the trailer ... then i would do the front and the back of the trailer then move on to the truck.... i brush the back of the truck first which usually sucks cause there are bars back there which make it imposibble for our brushes to fit in some places so we end up doing most of the back with a rag then we take our longes brush and brush the top of both sides of the truck and we commet all the metal stuff like the backs of the mirrors the breathers the stacks. then i degrease the front of the truck and hit it with a pressure washer to get the 10 million bugs off the front and out of the grill then i brish that with comet to to make it shine.. and repeat on the otherside of the truck

then i unlatch both sodes of the hood and lift it open and brush the hood then i climb up ontop of the front left tire and get ontop of the trucks motor and brush the top the visor underneath the visor the windshield and the inside of the hood... then i hop down degrease the motor and presure wash it all off really good including the oil pan and other shit thats down really low to the ground....

i have now completed 1 of the 20 or so trucks that i wash in a 12 hour period and i make 7.25 an hour
