No soldering, not even opening your PS2 and chance to fuck it up. Infinit game backups ect.... But if you're looking for mod chips to play burnt games and access HDD with games on it ect... Better find a person who has a working mod on a silver version before you do anything. Its easy to fuck that shit up.
