(only in my imagination, but i'd of have owned his arse thats for sure) thats not strictly true, the americans only joined the war after they were sure of an allied win, like after the battle of britain and the blitz, sure the US supplied the UK with arms and fuel and 'some' personel but it was'nt untill germany started falling back that the US fully joined in (normandy for instance) and that was'nt to help europe, they just wanted germanys scientists/money. dont see how i could offend anyone in europe though. i dont know all that much about germany, or the war tbh, i just did'nt like the comparision between US and germany.
