It's much more like c++, same syntax and everything, but it's platform independant..... and a tad slower running. I know c++ as well. Java can be run simply as a class (on the hard drive) or as an applet (on a web page) the difference is mainly in the restrictions imposed on applets (no accessing the system etc) but for this programs purposes you could make it an applet. April 14, 200421 yr nice little program, i compiled and ran it in Dr.Java and it seemed pretty user friendly too bad i dont know how to play this game, but nice job. I did so bad in CSE 142 which is basically java intro, those tests fucked me up.
April 14, 200421 yr ive learnd a lil c++ but its damn hard, javascript is the webpage code and is as much like java as speakers are to dvd writers. still aim to learn c++ from books like the teach yourself c++ in 21 days and stuff, they are pretty good but only teach basics still. dont even think you touch on the winapi stuff.
