Unbenknownst to most people, most stores have only 5-6 cameras. They are normally located in the electronics part, the jewelry part, the toy part, and the gun part. Chances are high that he wasn't on any of these tapes.

 

Idiot, flashing handcuffs is nothing. Putting the handcuffs on him is assault with a deadly weapon since handcuffs can be classified as "deadly weapons" and the lady/security guard obviously had intent to harm.
